I knitted this scarf for my husband last year. He loves the colors and the mulitidirectional element to it makes what would be a boring item far more interesting. This is knit of acrylic based yarn (my husband can't deal with itchy wool). I'll probably be making more of them. The original pattern was not symmetric at the end, though I adapted a different finish to it so in the image it does have symmetry. However, it looks like someone else finally submitted a similar correction to the original author. This pattern is available free.

This was a easy and fun project. It knits up very quickly and works well as a carry-along project. Not sure if I would like this without using some sort of interesting fiber.
